“As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;” Psalm 103:13 NIV
His compassion is so great for His children. He never despises us or is impatient with us.
“Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” Luke 18:17
If we do not act or think like little children, he will not treat us like children.–I want to be treated as a daughter!
“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.” Mark 6:34.
“On the day when I act,” says the LORD Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.” Malachi 3:17.
I always want to be like a little child with Him so he will always think of me as a child even when I am 95. The other options are horrific. I don’t want to be a successful, strong young woman who doesn’t need her Father to help her eat, breathe and have faith that saves—I want to run and fall on Him and ask Him to give me everything I need. Much more simple. Much more where I belong.
